New News Noise

Saturday, August 15th, 2009

Tons and tons of new stuff going up and around, most of it available over at WWKSF but the couple isolated pieces you wont be able to find are two pieces of pretty nice (but also pretty loud) noise I made for one of our newest videos, New News.

Proximity Sketch

prximity_sketches

Two weeks ago I spent some time at my parent’s house in Massachusetts. While there I attempted to write for an upcoming piece Patrick and I are working on: Forwards \ Backwards. What I wrote instead turned out to be the beginnings of the second act of Pressure, called Proximity.

This is the sketch for performance style, instrumentation, etc. It’s very rough on most accounts. I did not purposefully completely rip off Robert Ashley, this is just how it came out of me. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.

Pens.

Friday, April 17th, 2009

When was the last time you tried to buy a pen for someone else? I stood in front of the pen display at Office Max for probably ten minutes thinking to myself “If I were the character Eric is playing in Hannah Complex, which pen would I buy?”.

No wonder directors hire people to do this shit. It’s complicated. And I wrote his part.
